Corporate Social Responsibility
Successful businesses today are not easily satisfied with monetary returns but instead seek to examine the significance of their business activities in terms of impact on the society, as a whole. Thus, our companies fall in such category of business, making social impact a key performance indicator.
Nation Services contributes to improving the quality of lives in our communities. We have partners within local government, non-governmental organizations and aid agencies to assess and understand local needs so as to be well informed to offer support in diverse ways.
We believe investing in communities not only benefits us but the society and the environment we operate in. Social performance plays a key role in delivering the businesses’ strategy at the community level. Through our initiatives, we have built strong relationships with people in the community. Understanding their concerns and managing our impact on them is a priority and essential to us being responsible. Success to us is when we are able to make an impact in the lives of people for the better by opportunity creation and empowerment rather than purely financial metrics.
For the past decade, the group hosts an Annual Thanksgiving Services to promote non violence in Ghana during the election period to ensure Ghana conducts peaceful elections. This is one way we promote social cohesion and work towards the well being of our people.
PHILANTHROPY
Corporate Philanthropic Activities
The Unity Group come up with ways to build skills and empower people by taking part in various philanthropic activities inspired by our founder, Dr. Kwame Kyei.
The group annually donates to primary schools in the Ashanti Region. Recently, we constructed a computer lab and library for the Amankwatia M/A school in Kumasi. Furthermore, we regulary donate clothing and other basic necessities to widows and orphanages. Additionally, we occasionally pay off medical bills for the less fortunate or those who are unable to afford their medical bills at the Komfo Anokye Teaching hospital.
Nation Services made a significant contribution to support the Armed forces Northern command towards the construction of a modern gymnasium for the military in Kumasi. We also made a substantive donation for the construction of an office complex for the police in Kumasi.
Social Intervention
Unity Ministerial Fellowship
Since the year 2008, Dr. Kyei has sponsored the organization of an annual Fasting and Prayer service for peace in Ghana. The events has attracted a yearly average participation of over 40,000.
Dr. Kyei currently serves as patron for the Unity Ministerial Fellowship (UMF), a nationwide network of non denominational ministers whose sole aim is the promotion of Peace. In addition to several initiatives, the UMF organizes a nationwide pre- election prayers and post election thanksgiving services for every election cycle in Ghana.
Towards the 2016 General Elections in Ghana, Dr. Kyei and the Unity Group launched a Peace Campaign aimed at promoting education and sensitization on peace and facilitating dialogue amongst citizens and between stakeholders.
For Dr. Kyei, every charitable act is a service to God. From his perspective, he sees the Unity Group as a vehicle for spreading positivity and hope.

Ghana Entrepreneur Awards
The founder of the Unity Group, Dr Kwame Kyei has been awarded with Entrepreneurship Achievement Honors at the third Ghana entrepreneur Awards “Hall of Fame”. The award was presented at the 3rd Ghana Entrepreneur award ‘Hall of Fame” 2015 held last Friday at the Banquet hall in Accra.
